DON'T TALK DOWN TO ME

don't talk down to me

about the Black Dog

that sits on my breast

can't you understand or see

how dark how dangerous

He can manifest

stalking, hiding in the shadows

ever watching and waiting

to coax me to the gallows

what are the Fates fating?

who are yoiu to talk down to me

i cannot control when he steals

inside my soul makes me bow

fight, crawl to death beside

it would be better that you could

see the inferno inside of me
